 On Friday,
June 25, 1999, the Pretenders performed on the Today Show's Summer Concert Series in New York City's Rockefeller
Plaza. They had one of the largest turnouts for a concert. Only the first two songs were broadcast. After the show
ended, the band played a short set for the crowd that included Don't Get Me Wrong, My City was Gone, I'll Stand
by You, Popstar, Talk of the Town, Middle of the Road, and Stop Your Sobbing. |

City, NJ, August 14, 1999. What a shitty place to see a show. This is one big, hairy story that I won't get into
here. Let's just say that I don't care who plays there, I won't step foot in the Hilton in AC again. Not while
I'm still breathing anyhow. The band deviated from this set list quite a bit. We walked out of the show somewhere
around the eighth song, which was, appropriately enough, Stop Your Sobbing. A coupla friends were able to obtain
Chrissie's set list (shown here) and very generously gave it to us. They could have kept it to console themselves
