Set Lists & Signs

Another non-set list in the set lists... I grabbed this sign on the way out in Sheffield on November 2, 2001. As the band went left and we went right, I reached up and pulled it out of its holder, much to the amusement of a friend who was with us. He said, "Hahahaha! THAT is what separates YOU from the rest of us. HAHAHAHAHA...." Hey, I wasn't going to let it go to a landfill!

Chrissie ripped this off the stage floor and handed it to me at the Bournemouth show in England on November 5, 2001. It's her handwritten lyric cheat sheet for a new song called "Fools Must Die".

Chrissie's set list from the Bournemouth gig. They did two new songs, "Fools Must Die" and "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart"... both of which are excellent!

We were standing around outside the venue after the Pretenders performance. Taunia REALLY wanted this sign she'd noticed while we were in line before the show. She'd looked longingly at it again on the way out the door, and by the time UB40 took the stage she knew she had to save it or face eternal torment wondering at its fate. She went back into the venue and the unattended box office area to carry out this mercy mission. The sign is laminated. And has the wrong year.

How could I resist snatching this one off the wall backstage at the January 22, 2003 Jacksonville, FL show??? Besides, they were done with it. I hope...
