Everything has a story, so here's one to go with this picture... When I bought this, it was under
glass, the glass, picture and backing all held together by a strip of copper. One day this picture, reason now
unknown, was on the floor of my bedroom. I stepped on it, accidentally, of course. The glass crunched and immediately
I knew what I had stepped on. I slowly lifted my foot to assess the damage. The whole thing came up with my bare
foot, the glass shards firmly wedged. Frantic, I hopped across the room, the glass and picture hanging from my
foot, to the bed where I sat and worked as quickly as I could to peel the copper strip from the edges of the glass
- I didn't want to get blood on the picture - it would be ruined! After the photograph was freed and inspected
for damage, I began the long task of removing the glass from my foot. As you can see, the picture was completely
unharmed - go figure! Shall I scan my foot? (Totally healed, and not a scar to show for it!)
