A New Year's message from Chrissie! CH here wishing you a Happy New Year and updating you on The Pretenders activities, well actually my personal activities is more like it, I haven't seen Adam, Mart or Andy since our Neil Young tour, but don't panic we will be reunited soon! About that Proms, I did in Belgium recently - Yeh I know what you're thinking, that it wasn't very Rock, but that just goes to show how wrong you can be. Well, it was fucking rock because I was on the bill - so no more of your nonsense! By the way, the superb Italian tenor, Alessandro SAFINA, that I did a duet with - we will soon be releasing a version of the duet as a single, its called "Aria e memoria / We'll be together" and that will be out soon - and it's definitely not Rock. It was especially good to get a chance to hang out with UB40 for two months - you'll be glad to know that I've taken up pot-smoking again! Lets see what else... I've been listening a lot to Kate Bush & Pearl Jam. Hey, Pearl Jam are a great band - how come nobody told me? We will be commencing the recording of our new LP in the next few months and I promise you we won't let you down and it won't sound anything like Kate Bush or Pearl Jam.
